As a corporation, your company's branding and logo guidelines are standard. There must be rules about how the logo may be used, where it can be displayed, and what colors are acceptable in company communication such as marketing collateral like brochures. A style guide or "Graphic Identity System", as some have called it, is a do and don't document for your brand. This tutorial will show you what to include in your Brand Style Guide for both print and digital use. Other "real world" examples are also offered so that you can compare your brand style guide with similar companies or products.
In this tutorial, I will be using the Nebulex brand as the brand. You will also be able to download the example in Microsoft Word 2007 and use it as a template for your own brand. The fee is $4.50 through PayPal.
